Tara Renee Guilday

On January 27, 2025, Tara Renee Guilday, age 50, of Thurmont, MD,  passed at her home while surrounded by her family. She Was born in Frederick on November 9, 1974, and was the daughter of Paula Diane (White) Oden and the late Richard Thomas Oden.

Tara was a graduate of Frederick High School, class of 1992. She was an active member of FFA, avid reader, loved online gaming and doing crafts. She also loved cats. She was a homemaker and mom who took pride in raising her three children.

In addition to her mother, Tara is survived by her husband Patrick L. Guilday, children; Patrick Guilday, II (Yennifer Santana), Paula Guilday (fiance Michael Bujold) and Mary Guilday (David Matthews, Jr.), grandchildren; Josue, Nicolas, and Noah, brother Ricky Oden (Tina), and aunt Sherald Brashear and her favorite cat Lulu. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, P. A., 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD on Monday, February 3, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 103 N. Church Street, Thurmont, MD on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
