Matthew was a joy to have around. He touched the lives of many people that came into contact with him. He loved to sit in his wheelchair at the kitchen table where he could look out the window, draw with his ink pens and put puzzles together. He also loved trains, for his make-a-wish choice, he rode on the steam train engine in Cass, WV, which he really enjoyed. Matthew was full of life. He was a fighter till the end. He will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his mother Karen Williams, his father Brett Hann, his sister Ashley Hann and boyfriend Nathan, His brother Brett Hann Jr., several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Matthew was preceded in death by his grandmother Alice Souers, grandfather Luther Souers, uncle Blaine Souers, brother Tad Routhzahn, and his sister Shannon Hann.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 3864 Jefferson Pike, Jefferson, MD 21755. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. with interment following at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
