Mrs. Jessica Tydings Mannarino, 56, of New Market, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019 due to unknown medical causes while traveling to a family vacation. She was the wife of James Mannarino, and they were about to celebrate thirty happy years of marriage at the end of April. Born May 29, 1962 in Redbank, NJ, Jessica was the daughter of Mr. John and Dr. Judith Church Tydings. She was predeceased by her brother Michael Tydings. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her children, Joseph Mannarino (Hazel Gunapala), Michael Mannarino and Kathleen Mannarino; her brothers, Christopher Tydings (Wendy), Jeffrey Tydings (Kathleen), and sister-in-law Marie Tydings. She is also survived by a large and loving extended family, her loving dogs Roscoe and Penelope, and her loving grand-dogs, Bruno (Joseph & Hazel), Scheika & Ledo (Michael), and Hercules (Kate). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, April 24th at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 9190 Church Street, Libertytown, MD, with the family receiving an hour prior at 10:00AM. Father Lawrence Frazier will officiate. Jess LOVED being casual (denim was her favorite), and always wanted people to feel welcome and comfortable. Therefore, the family requests that people come in comfortable, casual clothing. Seriously, Jess would want you to be comfortable... so wear your favorite jeans and ditch the ties and fancy duds. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made for the benefit of the Mood Disorders Program. Please make checks payable to “Johns Hopkins University/Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences” (in memo place “IMO Jessica Mannarino”). Checks may be mailed to Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine, Dept. of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, 550 North Broadway, Suite 914, Baltimore, MD 2120 or you may donate online: https://secure.jhu.edu/form/psych, select Mood Disorders Center in the drop down menu.
