Betty Rebecca Painter

Betty Rebecca Painter (nee Holt) passed away at her residence surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 12, 2024 in Frederick, Md. Betty was the loving wife of the late John “Gene” Painter. She is loving mother of Robin Miller of Frederick, Loretta Todd of Frederick, Kathy Farley of Shenandoah Junction, WVA., Robert Lee Stoner and his late wife Shiela of Frederick, Harry Leo Stoner and wife Elizabeth of Frederick, and Charles E. Stoner of Colorado. Betty is the proud grandmother of 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. She is the last of 14 deceased siblings. Betty was a devoted member of Frederick Church of the Brethren and the Eagles Aerie 1136. Friends and relatives are invited to visit from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday October 17, 2024 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Homes, P.A. 106 E. Church Street, in the historic district of Frederick, Maryland, 21701 where a funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment immediately following at the historic Mount Olivet Cemetery, 515 S. Market St. Frederick, MD. 21701.
