James Todd Hart

June 4, 1957 — July 31, 2011

Mr. James Todd "Jaybird" Hart, 54, died Sunday, July 31, 2011 in Easton, MD. He was the former husband of Earlene Mae Hart.

James (Jay) was born on June 4, 1957 in Frederick, MD. He was the son of the late James Meredith and Doris Marie (Burke) Hart.

Jay was an excellent football & baseball player during his high school years attending Frederick High School. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle around the area and on many road trips. He was a Mason by trade and often referred to as the "Brick Doctor". In his spare time, he was an avid hunter and enjoyed chopping fire wood.

He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Nicole Hart and fiance' Ronnie Lee Wages of Brunswick, siblings, Ronald Allen Hart and wife JoEllen of Woodsboro, Deborah Kay Santelli and husband John of Woodsboro and Curtis Trent Hart of Frederick. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Elijah James Crider, Mason Lee Wages and Ryan Jordan Wages all of Brunswick, niece, Kathy Kline Cochran and husband Mike of Frederick, nephew, Jason Santelli and wife Karen of Frederick and several great nieces and nephews.

The family will recieve friends from 3-5 & 7-9 pm on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The funeral service will be at 10 am on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 in the Etchison Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Dr. James Flora will officiate.

Interment will be private.
