Johnathan Paul Owens Harris, 23, of Ijamsville, died on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at his home. Born in Jacksonville, FL, on December 29, 1989, he was the loving son of Rovena Owens Harris and the late James Nelson Harris, who died in 2002. Johnanthan was an avid reader, and he was a WW I and WW II buff, and had great knowledge of history. He had a great love for people and will be sadly missed by many. He also had a great love for his pet boxer's, Roscoe and Odie. Surviving in addition to his mother is one sister, Harriet Christine Harris, of Ijamsville, grandparents, Paul and Harriet Mullins Harris, of Williamsburg, VA and two uncles, Bob Harris and Calvin Owens and his best friend, Shane Waters. A Celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at the Damascus Road Community Church, 12826 Old National Pike, Mt. Airy. Pastor Richard Fredericks, will officiate. Private interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick,.
