Rita Ladd Mohn

Rita Ladd Mohn, age 72, of Thurmont, MD passed away Monday, December 19th, 2016. She was born on September 22, 1944 in the Netherlands. She was widow to husband, Eric Mohn, and a loving mother to three sons and two daughters: Samuel Vernon Ladd II (pre-deceased); Brian Ladd; Evan Ladd; Melissa Ladd Guenther and Shoshanna Ladd Shapiro. Rita was a devoted member of the LDS church. She will be remembered by her loved ones for her nurturing spirit and generosity as well her love of animals. Her nurturing spirit was her strength. She is survived by her children Melissa Ladd Guenther and her husband of Frederick MD; Shoshanna Ladd Shapiro and her husband of Gaithersburg, MD; Brian Ladd and his wife of Peoria, AZ; Evan Ladd of Gaithersburg, MD; and her siblings from the Netherlands John Navarro, Henk Navarro, and Ted Narvarro. The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, December 29, 2016 with a memorial service beginning at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Latham Dr, Frederick, MD 21701, with a reception to follow.
