Winifred Lorraine Ropp

Mrs. Winifred Lorraine "Pete" Ropp, 79, of Summerfield, FL and formerly of Shookstown, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at her home. She was the loving wife of David E. Ropp They were married for 56 years. Born in Jefferson on November 24, 1938, she was the beloved daughter of the late Charles E. and Iola Baker Zimmerman.  She had worked for several years for the Stepping Stones children day care center.
Surviving is her beloved son, Jeff Ropp and his wife Ladora, of Braddock Heights, brother, Robert Zimmerman, of Frederick, five grandchildren, Kyle, Kameron, Joseph, Frankie, Elizabeth and three step grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by neighbors and friends, Carol and Ed and Kenny and Laurie. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Clem in 2015, three brothers and two sisters.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Monday, July 9, 2018 in the Rocky Springs Cemetery, Frederick. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, Frederick.
