Warren Shannon

Warren Shannon, 91, of Ijamsville passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019. He was the husband of the late Christine Shannon. Born on February 10, 1928 in Queens, New York he was the son of the late William and Madeline Shannon.

Mr. Shannon worked in sales most of his life. He was known for his kindness and his love of helping others.

He is survived by his niece Dr. Carol M. Orlando and husband Dr. Thomas E. Horton, nephew Dr. Thomas C. Orlando and wife Jennifer M. Orlando, great-nephew Thomas S. Horton JD, great-nieces Nicole Orlando, Olivia Orlando, and Sienna Orlando, and his beloved sister-in-law Carol Orlando.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 from 7 to 9 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. The interment will be on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 11 AM in the Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, New York.
