Vicki Cook

Vicki Lynn Cook, 64, of Frederick, formerly of Braddock Heights, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

Born on Monday, February 29, 1960.  She was the loving fiancé to the late Robert Young, who preceded her in death in 2015.  Vicki lived a life marked by dedication to her family and community.

Vicki was employed as a stocker at Weis Market, where she worked diligently for many years. She was known for her friendly demeanor and unwavering commitment to her job, making her a valued member of the Weis Market family.  She was an avid animal lover.

Vicki is survived by her beloved brother, Calvin Cook, half sister, Wanda Scaletta, niece, Megan Baugher, long time friends, Christina Copeland (Greg), Linda Studebaker, Laurie Biser Wolfe (Rich) and Barbara Linton Fellers, numerous nieces, nephews and co-workers at Weis Markets.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Calvin Cook and Virginia Cook.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM, on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701.
