Veronica Ann Maloney

It is with great sadness that we announce that Veronica Ann Maloney passed away at the age of 60 on April 17, 2024 in Frederick, MD.

She is survived by her longtime partner Maureen (Mo) Paton, daughter Maggie Maloney, siblings Edward Fishencord Jr., Matthew Fishencord and Jennifer Vargas as well as nieces and nephews.

Veronica grew up in Denver, Colorado.  She enjoyed her work with disabled adults  and spread joy and happiness to all who knew her.  Often described as sweet and cool, Veronica enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking and creating with stained glass.  A favorite pastime was spending time with her many friends and 3 cats.   Veronica radiated positivity and kindness – all who knew her know that she will be a great angel in Heaven.   She will be sorely missed.

Family and friends can gather at Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, P.A., 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701, on Saturday April 27, 2024 from 10am until the start of the memorial service at 10:30am. Inurnment will be held privately.
