Mr. Thomas Francis Kilduff, 71, of Frederick, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019, in Frederick. Born on August 30, 1947, in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, he was a son of the late Francis and Mary Kilduff.
Tom proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He had worked in the construction field as a supervisor. He was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church and he was a master gardener. Tom enjoyed spending time with his four daughters and four grandchildren every chance he had. When he wasn’t spending time with his family, he enjoyed gardening, being outside in nature and making wildflower bouquets. He was an avid Ravens and Capitals fan and enjoyed going to local rugby games with his rugby friends and teammates from Univeristy of Maryland and Maryland Old Boys. Tom had a smile and laugh that would light up any room and the charm of a gentleman with a heart of gold. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten
Surviving are his daughters; Colleen Kilduff, of Frederick, Molly Greer and husband Charles, of Arnold, Bridget Howe and husband Jamison, of Clear Spring and Hannah Kilduff and fiance Britt Bailey, of Frederick, his brother, Patrick Kilduff and wife Patricia, of Kingsville, grandchildren; Emmett Greer, Brynn Greer, Savannah Howe and Oliver Howe and his niece, Julia Kilduff and Jason Levengood, also survived by his former wife, Susan Kilduff.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m., on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, July 29, 2019, at Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 118 East Second Street, Frederick. Interment will follow in the St. Johns Cemetery, Frederick.
