Tammy Lavonne Tyeryar

Tammy LaVonne Tyeryar, 66, of Woodsboro, MD, passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 1, 2024. Born in Chambersburg, PA, on April 26, 1958, to Thelma LaRue Locke (Robert E. Rockwell) and the late Reuben Martin Locke. Tammy was the beloved wife and soulmate to James David Tyeryar.

Tammy loved flowers and gardening. She took great pride in tending to her beautiful flower beds and her favorite flowers, Iris’s. Tammy also enjoyed sewing and crocheting in her spare time.

In addition to her husband, Tammy is survived by: her children, Melissa Hart (Joseph), Amanda Stebbing (Joseph), Brittney Tyeryar (Celeste), and MaKayla “Brooke” Tyeryar, her brothers, Roger Locke, Sr. and Darrell Locke, her grandchildren, Sophia, Riley, Dalilah, Isabelle, Jack, Max, Freya, Cam, Nafi, Hakim, and Wykil, her best friend Wendy Winpigler, and numerous friends from the Woodsboro area.

Family and friends can gather at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, P.A., 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701, on Saturday November 9, 2024 from 1pm to 3pm. Interment will be held privately by the family.
