Shirley Mae Hunt Chiriaco

Shirley Mae Hunt Chiriaco, 96, of Frederick, MD, passed away on Sunday February 18, 2024. Born in Providence, RI, on February 11, 1928 to the late Pittman Willis and Alice Ada (Dow) Hunt. She was the beloved wife of 69 years to the late Paul Lester Chiriaco.

She is survived by her children: Cathy (Jerry), Donna, Vincent (Lisa), Pauline (Chuck), and Anthony (Ann), grandchildren; Daniel (Sarah), Laura, Allison (Dustin), Kimberly, and Michael (Emma), great-grandchildren; Madeline, Lucy, and Alice.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 8428 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702, on Tuesday February 27, 2024 at 11am. Inurnment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Shirley’s name to Frederick Health Hospice, 1 Frederick Health Way, Frederick , MD 21701 or Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 8428 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702.
