Sally Beth Hodges

Sally Rosser Hodges passed away on September 19, 2022 at her home. She was born May 9, 1938 in Washington, D.C. Her parent's were John and Maxine Rosser of Kensington, MD.

Sally graduated from Bethesda Chevy Chase High School in 1956, Montgomery Junior College in 1958, and American University in 1960. She taught Junior High School Art in Montgomery County for ten years.

She married George H. Hodges on July 10, 1965. Her son, George H. Hodges, Jr. was born February 25, 1972. She worked for Stadler Nursery for many years. She also lived and helped on the family farm.

Sally and George played guitars during church services for many years at Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ, Frederick, MD.

She was survived her two brothers David Rosser and John Rosser and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Sally was a loving mom-mom to Taylor Holmes and Steven Robinson and family, both of Frederick, MD. Sally will also be remembered and missed by her daughter-in-law, Veronica Seabolt Hodges, wife of George Hodges, Jr. of Frederick.

Family and friends can gather at Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, P.A., 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701, on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 10am until the start of the funeral at 12pm. Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
