Roy C. Romsburg, Sr.

Roy Cantner Romsbug, Sr., age 92, of Frederick passed away at his home on Thursday December 5, 2019. He was the loving husband of Betty R. Romsburg for 76 years. Born on May 20, 1927 in Garrett, Pennsylvania to the late Paul Leroy and Carrie Ethel Romsburg.

Roy worked in sales for most of his life selling used and new vehicles. For over 40 years he took care of his farm located in Flintstone, MD. He was proud of being a freemason for 27 years, as well as being a shriner and tall cedar. He belonged to the Blue Lodge 58, in Frederick.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Paul Romsburg and fiancé Atzhara, Roy C. Romsburg , Jr and wife Gayle, and Gay Rohrer and husband Bob, sister Helen Proudfoot and husband Larry, in addition to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 11 AM at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions in his name to the Frederick Masonic Temple, Columbia Lodge #58, 6816 Blentlinger Rd, Frederick, 21702.
