Ronald Lee Showe

Ronald Lee Showe died on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 in Frederick, Maryland, the city of his birth. He was born to the late Frances May Beall Showe and the late Bernard Thomas Showe. Ronny as is know to many, is survived by his daughter Krystle Russell, devoted sisters; Rose L Rhodes (Gary) also of Frederick, MD. and Joyce D. Roberson (Rodney) of Fairfield, PA. dear friend of Linda and a host of nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. He is predeceased by his son, Ronald Lee Showe, Jr. Ronny was a lifelong painter by trade of both interior and exterior residential and commercial. In his off hours, he enjoyed following various sports teams with his friends; listening to oldies rock n' roll and country music; word puzzles and most especially spending time with his extensive family and vast social circle. Ronny will be sorely missed by all. Family and friends may visit on Monday May 1, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Etchison Memorial Chapel of Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, P.A., 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, Maryland 21701. A graveside service will immediately follow at 12:15 p.m. in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, Maryland. His sisters Rose and Joyce wish to extend their deepest affection and gratitude to the ICU team of medical professionals at Frederick Health Hospital for the tender care they provided to Ron in his last days.
