Rolando Balcazar Jr., 48, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 13th, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose vibrant spirit and unwavering love touched the hearts of all who knew him. Rolando will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the joy and light he brought to those around him.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Bolivia, Rolando brought a unique blend of cultures and traditions with him wherever he went. He resided in Frederick, Maryland, where he made a lasting impact on his community through his kindness, generosity, and love for life.

Rolando was a devoted family man who cherished his time with his loved ones above all else. His love, support, and dedication to his family were the foundation of his life, and his presence will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have him in their lives. Rolando is survived by his fiancé, five children, a grandchild, and a large extended family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and kindness that will continue to inspire those who knew him.

Rolando was known for his strong sense of camaraderie, loyalty, and love, as well as his adventurous spirit. He enjoyed spending time playing with his daughter, riding his motorcycle, camping, and heading to the beach with his family. The family will receive friends on Saturday July 27, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, P.A,. 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, Maryland 21701. A Celebration of Life Service to celebrate Rolando’s life and honor his many passions and accomplishments will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 12 noon.
