Robert Edward Zimmerman

Mr. Robert Edward Zimmerman, 80, of Frederick, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at the Frederick Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Donna Zentz Zimmerman. Born in Brunswick on January 21, 1940, he was a son of the late Charles Edward and Viola Arvin Zimmerman. Bob was retired after 42 years with Capitol Milk Producers. He enjoyed going crabbing, fishing and play cards with his buddies. Surviving is his son, Eric C. Zimmerman and wife Brenda, of Frederick, and many nieces and nephews. He will also be remembered by special friends, Patsy Blank, James Lenhart and brother-in-law, David Ropp. Private services will be held in the Rocky Springs Cemetery, Frederick. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, Frederick.
