Robert A. Vaughn

Mr. Robert A. Vaughn "Pop-Pop", 53, of Thurmont, went to be with the Lord; Sunday, December 25, 2022. He was the loving husband of Linda Vaughn for 25 years.

Born March 14, 1969 in Baltimore, he was the son of Naomi Jean Baker (Scott Baker) and Henry Vaughn.

Robert graduated from Gov. Thomas Johnson High School. He began his work career in janitorial service at MSD for 10 years and worked for New Era Custom Design, later owning and operating his own janitorial service company Just Right Cleaning Services. Robert enjoyed helping anyone that needed a hand. He loved to vacation with his family especially going to the beach at Ocean City. His love was spending time with his grandsons; Landon and Levi. He will be missed by many family, friends and associates.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughter; Ashley Fisher (Louis Capps), grandsons; Landon Capps and Levi Capps, brother; Charles Vaughn (Laurie), sister; Teresa Edgar (Russell), mother-in-law; Pat Mulcahey, special friend; Shelley Mohamed, numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his good friend; Marjorie Kapke.

The family will receive friends from 4pm to 7pm, on Monday, January 2, 2023 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The funeral service and interment will be private.
