Richard "Dick" Lafferty

Richard (Dick) C. Lafferty, formerly of Potomac, Maryland passed away on Sunday October 20, 2019 at Homewood at Frederick of natural causes. Born on April 13, 1934 in Lakeport California, he was the only son of the late Harry and Gail Lafferty. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Lois J. Lafferty.   Dick attended Pacific University and achieved a degree in Broadcast Communications before serving in the Army. After completing his service he worked in the private sector and was employed for 30 years as Director of Sales for Reuben H. Donnelly Corporation, publisher of the Yellow Pages.   Surviving him are his four children: Connie Ingalls and husband Robert of Gaithersburg, MD; Colleen McGlothlin of Colorado Springs, CO; Lisa Reese and husband Ralph of Frederick, MD; and Craig Lafferty and wife Robyn of New Market, MD. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren: Chris and Katy Ingalls, William and Michael McGlothlin, Michael, Phillip and Ben Reese, and Luke and Erin Lafferty.   Funeral Services will be private.
