Reta Catherine Cooper

Reta Catherine Cooper, 59, of Frederick, MD, passed away Wednesday May 15, 2024, at the Potomac Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Born in Frederick on December 2, 1964, to the late Lloyd Franklin Cooper, Sr., and Ethel Lorraine (Fauble) Cooper.

Reta was a longtime member of the Frederick Way Station. She also enjoyed volunteering at Select Seconds Thrift Shop. Reta will be most remembered for the love and compassion she had for her family. She also enjoyed playing bingo and loved cats.

She is survived by, her daughter Catherine L. Cook (Glen), her granddaughters Madison Cook and Kylie Cook, her siblings, Sissy Cooper (Mike), Annie Horn (Homer), Sam Cooper (Tina), Jimmy Cooper (Deb), and Lloyd Cooper, Jr., special sister-in-law Sandra Oland and numerous cousins and friends.

Family and friends can gather at Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, P.A., 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701 on Monday May 20, 2024 from 1pm until the start of the funeral service at 2pm. Interment will follow at St. Paul Episcopal Church Cemetery, Point of Rocks.
