Ramona C. Cecil

Ms. Ramona “Mona” Carol Cecil, 59, of Frederick, passed away on Wednesday June 5, 2024.

Mona was born on June 6, 1964 to the late Frances “Kay” Fritz in Frederick, MD.

Mona graduated from Frederick High School. She went on to work for Canam Steel Corporation for many years in the accounts payable department.

Mona was predeceased by her grandparents, Talmadge N., Jr., and Frances Hudson Cecil and mom Frances “Kay” Fritz and her Husband Donald E. Fritz. She is survived by her Godson, Jesse Highling, of Easton, his wife Erin and their children Levi and Hadley along with three cousins, Bill, Richard and Roxie.

She will be sadly missed and remembered by her family, close friends, neighbors, and co-workers.

The family will receive friends on Thursday June 13,2024 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick MD.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Friday, June 14, 2024 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Interment will follow in
the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
