Pauline Catherine Lawson

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother.

Pauline Catherine Lawson of New Market passed away peacefully on January 23, 2023 with her children by her side. She was born on August 3, 1932 in Weaverton, MD and is the daughter of the late Melvin and Katherine Phillips.

Pauline is survived by her three children, Lori Brabham and husband Clif of New Market, Ricky Lawson and partner Ben Gue of Mt. Airy and Perry Lawson, Jr. and wife Kathy of New Market, Three grandchildren Stephanie Edleman and husband Greg of White Marsh, Scott Wilcom and Gregory Lawson, both of New Market. Pauline would have been blessed with her first great-grandchild in June. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Pauline is predeceased by her husband Perry "Rudy" Lawson, Sr., siblings Bill, Frank and Richard Phillips, Elizabeth Diehl, Virginia McKenzie and Frances Runkles.

She enjoyed her flowers (violets especially), gardening, watching Hallmark movies, Ravens, NASCAR and putting together her puzzles. Pauline loved to shop and spend time at Ben Gue Gifts talking with customers.

Pauline enjoyed family trips to Ocean City every year. It was her happy place, along with spending time at home, to create and share memories with her grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon, on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 515 S. Market Street, Frederick, MD. Those attending will assemble at the Key Memorial
