Paula Ellery Charles

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the peaceful passing of Paula Ellery Charles better known as Ms. Ellery/Ma Charles on Friday, July 19th at her family residence in Soufriere, St. Lucia.

She was the beloved mother of Mrs. Karan Charles Blackman and Mrs. Charlene Solozano, Sons In Law Lyndon Blackman and Darren Solozano. Grandchildren Dr. Frederick Paige, Tristen Solozano, Kaydon-Luke Blackman and Sandyn Solozano. Ellery was sister of Mrs. Justina Flavien, Mrs. Delicia Hinkson, Mr. Charles Duplessis, Mr. Colins Duplessis and Mr. Bernard Loy Duplessis. Sister-In-Law to Mr. Charles (Charlie) Flavien, Mr. Chester Hinkson, Mrs. Christina Duplessis, Mrs. Vina Duplessis and Mrs. Catherine Duplessis. Cousins, Mrs. Tessa Charley, Mrs. Lin Ferrari and Mrs. Kara Peyton and family, Mrs. Brenda Yorke and many more both here and abroad.

The family will receive friends at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, P.A., 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701 on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 12 PM until 1 PM. The memorial service will immediately follow at 1 PM.
