Patsy Mae Hobbs

Mrs. Patsy Mae Hobbs, 88, of Frederick, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Donald L. Hobbs, who preceded her in death in 2004.

Born April 13, 1934 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Roberts) Stone.

Patsy worked for several years at Frederick Memorial Hospital as a CNA. She was a member of the FSK American Legion Ladies' Auxiliary. She had a great love for animals. She was a sharp poker player. Most of all, her greatest joy was spending time with her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Patsy is survived by her daughter; Robin Austin (Bruce), grandchildren; Jeremy Jeffers (Crystal Hoffman) , Christopher Jeffers (Casey Jo), Dan and Paula Shultz, great-grandchildren; Evan Shultz, JP Shultz and Cecilia Jeffers and special friends; Debi Hildebrand (2nd daughter) and Avalon Berkebile.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings; Marie Jeffers, Bruce Stone, Mildred Tawney, Margaret Bonney, James Stone and Edward Stone.

The family would like to thank the staff at Citizens for the care that Patsy received, especially; Susan Stoutamyer.

The funeral service and interment will be private in accordance with Patsy's wishes.
