Mike Moore

Mr. James Michael "Mike" Moore, 76, of Jefferson, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at his residence. He was the loving husband of Marguerite "Peggy" Moore.

Mike was born November 10, 1947, in Washington D.C. to the late James and Eileen Moore. He was a devoted dad to Gregory (Jennifer) Moore, Patrick Moore, and Katherine (James) Hiner and an adoring grandfather to Anna Mooney, Natalie Moore, Thomas Hiner and Juliana Hiner. He is also survived by his sisters, Eileen Moore and Teresa d'Angelo, brothers, Richard Moore, Thomas Moore, and William Moore, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his parents-in-law Stanley and June Donovan Matylewicz, brother-in-law Thomas Matylewicz, nephew Scott Woolcock, and infant grandson Jack Moore.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00PM, on Monday, November 11, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 118 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701.  Inurnment will be private.
