Michael Edward Lear

Mr. Michael Edward "Mike" Lear, 64, of Hagerstown, died Sunday, March 12, 2023 at home surrounded by family.

Born January 14, 1959 in Tawas, Michigan. He was the son the late Donald C Lear and Betty J Hinkleman. Mike was preceded in death by his brothers Ronald Lear and Loren Lear.

Mike is survived by his partner, Shelly Look, daughters; Michelle Lear-Combs (Shad) and Amanda Roediger (Tim), son; Justin Shafer, brothers; Donald Lear (Amy), Tim Lear (Kim) and Chris Lear (Stacey) and sisters; Charlotte Dixon (Dave), Mary Lear, Edie Lear-Rosales (Ernie) and Peggy Dodge (Fred), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be welcomed at 10:00 am, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 am on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Holy Family Catholic Community, 7321 Burkittsville Road, Middletown, MD 21769. Reception afterwards will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Frederick Health Hospice.
