Mark Wayne Wilcom

On November 15, 2024 ,Mark Wilcom, age 62, of Monrovia, MD passed away at Frederick Health Hospital. He was born in Frederick on February 2, 1962 and is the son of Evelyn Mae Fogle - Wilcom and the late Michael J. Wilcom.
Mark graduated from Linganore High School, Class of 1980, where he played on the basketball team and was a member of the FFA. He was a lifelong Dairy Farmer working on the family farm, making hay and milking cows. He also worked at 75-80 Drag-a-Way.
He enjoyed playing Keno and had many friends that he met at various local taverns.
In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by Linda Powell, his son Joshua Wayne Wilcom, his brother Christopher Wilcom and Robin, nieces Alexis Wilcom and Marisa Wilcom and her three children and caregiver Lori Gibbons. Mark is preceded in death by his brother Michael J. Wilcom, Jr. and his son Corey Wilson.
A viewing will be held at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, P.A., 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701, on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Catholic Prayer service will commence at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Foundation of Frederick County, Michael J.
