Lisa Rachel

Ms. Lisa L. Rachel, 61, of Waynesboro, PA, formerly of Frederick, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. She was the loving companion to Glen A. Shew for 25 years.

Born April 6, 1962 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Russel and Sandy Jo Rachel.

Lisa enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved taking joy rides on the golf cart with Glen and the grandbabies, riding around the campground to visit with neighbors or see the riverside. Although she would have preferred to be on land, she grew to love riding on the family boat while watching the kids being pulled behind it on the raft. In her free time, she could be found at the nail salon or playing bingo with her close friends. She also enjoyed crafting. When not crafting or at bingo, she was likely shopping.

She is survived by her son; David Pike, daughters; Olivia Beltz (Brandon) and Micki Shew, grandchildren; Ace Beltz and Aven Beltz, siblings; Rusty Rachel, Chris Rachel (Karen) and Michael Ann Day (Rick), and many nieces and nephews.

The family will have a funeral ceremony at a later date.
