Linda Marie Windsor

Linda Windsor, age 77, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and cherished friend, passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2025. She was the devoted wife of the late Francis Windsor Jr., with whom she shared 44 years of joy, love, and treasured memories.

Born to the late Conley and Margaret Koogle, Linda’s upbringing laid the foundation for her compassionate and caring spirit. She is survived by her sister, Nancy Stillions, with whom she shared a lifelong bond of love and support. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald and James Koogle, and her sisters, Patricia Koogle and Barbara Kay Lambright.

Linda’s greatest pride and joy were her children, Eric Windsor (Delma), Denise Rudegeair (Edward) and Brian Windsor (Melissa). She was also a proud grandmother to Robert McGinley, Victoria Rudegeair, Edward Rudegeair Jr., Brandon Ridgely, and Hunter Windsor. Her family was the heart of her world, and her legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on through them.

She will forever be remembered for her boundless compassion, warm spirit, and her ability to bring light into the lives of all who knew her. A trusted confidante, a loyal friend, and a pillar of strength, Linda touched the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Her family, friends, and community will continue to celebrate and honor her beautiful life, cherishing the lasting memories she created and the love she so generously gave.

Family will receive friends at Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, P.A., 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD, on March 13, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 P.M. Interment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Jefferson, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Linda's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital https://www.stjude.org/donate or to your local animal shelter.
