Linda Ann Pitsenbarger

Linda Ann Pitsenbarger, 65, of Frederick, MD, tragically passed unexpectedly on Saturday March 22, 2025, at her home. Born in Reading, PA, on December 2, 1959, to the late James Thomas and Catherine Blanche (McCarthy) Kay. Linda grew up in Allentown, PA, and was the youngest of 4, with 3 older brothers. (Must be where she got her toughness from)

Linda will be remembered for her infectious smile, infectious laughter, and warm demeanor. Linda had a limitless amount of love for her children and her brand-new baby granddaughter. Linda was beautiful, smart, loving, and forgiving, and above all else…Selfless! What will friends and family miss most? That calming voice when seeking comfort and ease, honest advice, and open arms.

Linda will always be remembered for her involvement within the Middletown community and the creation of Remsberg Park.

Linda is survived by; her sons, Mason Bruce Pitsenbarger, Thomas James Pitsenbarger (Silmara), and Zachary Norman Pitsenbarger (Maddie Scott), her granddaughter Olivia Ann Pitsenbarger, her brothers, Kevin Kay and David Kay (Cindy), her beloved dog Tucker, her former husband Norman Pitsenbarger, and several nieces. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother Jimmy Kay.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, P.A., 106 East Church Street on Wednesday March 26, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm. Visitation will also be held on Thursday March 27, 2025 from 12pm until the start of the funeral service at 1pm.

Guests are invited to wear formal attire, but with emphasis on bright and vibrant colors in honor of Linda. (Think spring flowers)
