Kimberly Larue Murray

Kimberly Murray (Ingram) of Jefferson, MD passed away April 15 2023. She was born May 12, 1965, in Frederick, MD to Beverly Ingram and the late James Ingram Jr.

Kim started work at the age of 15 at Highs Dairy and graduated from Brunswick High in 1983. She and her mother, Bev, opened and operated Ingram's Diner in October of 1986 until September 2017 in Jefferson, MD.

Kim is survived by her son: Aaron Pettitt and wife Alyssa Pettitt. Her daughters Heather Pettitt and Megan Murray. Sister Jamie Baker and her children Jessica Brodnax, Robert Baker and Jenna Baker. Along with many nieces, nephews and grandchildren who all called her Mimi. Also close family friends Chloe Carroll, Glen Gordon and Mark Bauchman.

She loved to read and enjoyed being in the sun as much as possible. Kim was a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan to the chagrin of her mother who was a dedicated Washington Redskins fan. Kim cherished her friendships and whenever a child was dropped off for babysitting. She was a dedicated animal lover, from the black kittens that followed her down the driveway to Nan's house to the 2 orange tabbies we have to find a good home for.

The family will be receiving friends for a memorial service Saturday May 6, 2023 from 2:30pm - 4 pm at the Jefferson Ruritan Center, 4603 Lander Rd A, Jefferson, MD 21755.
