Kechia Lynn Studebaker

Kechia Lynn Studebaker, (nee Smith) passed away in Frederick, Maryland the city of her birth on November 22, 2023. She is the loving wife of Jeffrey Studebaker. She is the devoted daughter of Saundra Smith Vargas (Manuel) who were an immense help in assisting Jeffrey, Brittany and Brett in meeting Kechia’s final wishes and the late James Smith. Kechia is survived by her loving daughter Brittany Wilson (Malik) and her loving son, Brett Studebaker. Her “grandbabies”, Aiyona, Legaci, Kailani, Legend and Kahari Wilson were the joy in her life. She is also survived by her brothers and nephews Kechia enjoyed her career in the grocery industry until her health prevented her for daily labors. She is known as “Mom” to all her children’s friends and neighbors. Everyone was welcome. She mourned the recent loss of her two very dear lifelong, childhood friends, the late Helen Miller and the late Brenda Lawson. Their deaths took a toll on Kechia. Services and interment private.
