Katie Denise Rawlings

Ms. Katie Denise Rawlings, 41, of Charles Town, WV died Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Berkeley Medical Center. She is survived by her boyfriend, William "Brad" Campbell.

Born March 13, 1980 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, she was the daughter of Steven Rawlings (Patti) and Dayna McKendrick (Dean).

Katie was the life of the party, her smile and loud amazing laugh would light up a room. She loved the outdoors- enjoying the beach and fishing with Dominic. She was an avid Redskins fan, loved to watch Criminal Minds, playing competitive games of cards with Gammie and solving puzzles. She will be known for keeping Mt. Dew in business and also enjoying a good margarita. Most of all, Katie loved her family especially her two sons.

She is survived by her sons, Dimitri Emswiler and Dominic Emswiler, sisters, Sara Knudson (Todd), Sarah Walker (Brent), Amanda Muhlbach (Peter Martin) and Allison Rawlings, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will have a private memorial service. Inurnment will be be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
