Judy Bowie

Mrs. Julia "Judy" Bowie, 76. of Frederick, died Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Suburban Hospital. She was the loving wife of Ronald Bowie for 58 years.

Born July 9, 1946 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Clarabelle (Singleton) Scott.

In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by her daughters; Julie Gentel and husband Michael and Kimberly Bumgardner, grandchildren; Brittany Gentel, Megan Gentel, Kiersten Traylor and husband Chris and Kameron Bumgardner, 6 great-grandchildren; brother; Clarence Scott Jr. numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister; Marion Sullivan.

The family will receive friends from 4pm to 6:30pm, on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. An American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 11 memorial service will immediately follow. Inurnment will be private.
