Joyce Kay Page

Joyce Kay Page, 76, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 17, 2022. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Michael Wayne Page.

Born on June 22, 1946 of the late Edward A. Grove and Beatrice E. Grove of Frederick, MD.

Joyce was born and raised in Frederick, MD. She married in 1968 and moved to North Carolina where her husband who served in the Marine Corp was stationed. In 1971, they moved back to Maryland and built a home in the mountains of Myersville.

Joyce was employed by the Atomic Energy Commission from the time she graduated high school until 1980. She started a part time job at the local bank in Myersville, MD once her children were out of school in which she eventually retired from to spend more time with her grandchildren.

She loved sewing, baking, Christmas, trips to the beach, Williamsburg, and going to Walt Disney World every year. She cherished her time with her grandchildren and her dog Cole.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Michael Wayne Page, her children Jolaina Noelle Page, Gina Page Goshorn and husband, and her son, Adam Michael Page. Along with her grandchildren, Makayla Paige Ball and Landis Routson Goshorn.

Visitation and funeral services will both be held at Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, P.A. at 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD. Visitation is from 2-5pm on Sunday, July 24. The funeral will be held Monday, July 25 at 11am. Interment will follow in Clustered Spires Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to gather at Surreybrooke Nursery located in Middletown, MD following the interment.
