Josephine Catheryn Rosensteel

Josephine Catheryn Rosensteel (nee Sier) 105 years, died peacefully in Walkersville, Maryland. She was the beloved wife of the late Earl Rosensteel. Josephine was preceded in death by her daughter, the late Rosemary Rosensteel. She is survived by her best friend, Betty Sparks. Josephine was born to the late Luther and Catheryn Sier in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania on November 7, 1919. She obtained an associate of arts degree in business administration. Using her education, she founded a medical billing agency she ran until retirement. A funeral service will be held on Thurday, January 2, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of Keeney & Basford Funeral Homes, P.A. 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, Maryland 21701. Interment following at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery, Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.
