Joseph Anthony Lobocchiaro

Joseph Anthony LoBocchiaro, May 14 ^th , 1943 – May 3 ^rd , 2022. His life was well lived and he was well loved! The Lord called him home in a peaceful manner at Frederick Memorial Hospital, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, May 3 ^rd , 2022 in his 79 ^tth year.

This gentle, loving, caring and wonderful man has left a permanent mark etched on our hearts and will be supremely missed by his wife and best friend of 57 years, Nery LoBocchiaro.

Joseph was above all passionate and proud of all his 4 children and 12 grandchildren. He was a loving father of Laura Hishmeh, Danny LoBocchiaro, James LoBocchiaro, and Brenda Amaya. He was a proud and gentle grandfather to Allison Hishmeh, Amanda HishmehPeacock, Daniel LoBocchiaro, Madeline Hishmeh, Isabella LoBocchiaro, Joshua LoBocchiaro, Andrew LoBocchiaro, Adrian Amaya, Guiliana Amaya, Elizabeth LoBocchiaro, and Alexandra LoBocchiaro.

Joseph Lobocchiaro’s loving and brave parents were Franchesca Quercia-Monte and Guiseppi LoBocchiaro.

Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbors, and many friends!

Joseph was a happy and kind gentleman holding the highest integrity in work and in family life. He adored each new day with a positive outlook on life, always willing to help and to inspire others. He treasured each moment whether that was spending the day with his family, taking a walk every morning and waving hello, traveling the world or enjoying the simple pleasures of watching a sports game or sharing a meal.

A celebration of Joseph LoBocchiaro’s life will be held on Saturday, May 7 ^th , 2022 at at Keeney and Basford P.A. Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, Maryland. A Catholic Prayer Service will commence at 2:30 P.M. The Burial Service will be celebrated on Monday, May 9 ^th , 2022 at All Souls Cemetery in Germantown, Maryland.

Joseph lived a full enriched life, and he touched the lives of many. He will always be remembered in our hearts and leaves a beautiful legacy that we will never forget!
