Joseph Lee Dade

Joseph “Joe” Lee Dade, 59, of Frederick, passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. Born on January 24, 1963 to the late Stanley M. and Dorothy Dade. He was the beloved husband to Lora Dade for 18 years.

Joe worked at Wal-Mart where he would meet his wife. Later he would go on to work at Sam’s Club before becoming a school bus driver for Frederick County. He and Lora enjoyed watching trains and would often go to the Brunswick Railroad Days. Joe loved his pets and all wildlife, including wolves and grizzly bears. He also enjoyed watching squirrels outside his window.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister Vickie Dade, step-sisters; Ann Beauchamp, Julie Reynolds, and Jamelyn Snoots, his step-mother Alma Dade, sister-in-law Lana Buszko(Armand), nieces Joelene Bellinger and Lisa Fantone, close friends Linda Mercer and Erica Stull, his cousin Jimmy RIggs (Lisa), and pet Nip-Nip.

Family and friends can gather at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, P.A., 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701 on Friday May 27, 2022, from 1pm -2pm. Graveside service to follow at Jefferson Methodist Cemetery.
