Joseph Michael Boggs

Joseph Boggs Jr (Joey) passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2023 at the young age of 39 in a Motorcycle Accident while out enjoying his 24th Anniversary with his wife.

Joey is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart Tiffany Boggs and their three children who were his pride and joy, Donoven (18), Adalynn (12), and Laila (10). He is survived by his parents Sheryl Hopkins Merritt and Joseph and Sally Boggs, as well as his brother Brandon Boggs. He is preceded in death by his grandparents John and Yvonne Stapleton and Donald and Patricia Hopkins.

Joey was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and well loved by many friends and family members. He loved spending time with his family whether it was on the beach, going out as a family with friends on their jet skis or at home boiling and steaming seafood. Joey was dedicated to his career as The COO of Tempest Storm Rentals. He had such a passion and love for his career in which he shined so brightly. Joey's love for life could always be seen by his contagious smile, and with his constant loving and caring touch. Joey would light up a room with his larger than life presence and personality. Joey will be deeply missed by all the lives he touched. Words can never express how much his presence and love will forever hold a large and special place in all of our hearts.

A funeral service will be held in his honor on Saturday April 8, 2023 at 930 AM at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home 106 East Church Street Frederick, Maryland 21701. Following the funeral, the burial will be held privately by the immediate family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his honor to St. Jude or The Make A Wish Foundation.
