Jenifer Renee Hipkins

Jenifer Renee Hipkins, 51, of Adamstown, passed unexpectedly on Saturday October 28, 2023, at the Frederick Health Hospital. Born in Frederick on July 14, 1972 to Kevin and Bonnie (Wachter) Dudrow. She was the beloved wife of 31 years to Scott G. Hipkins.

Jenifer was a long time member of Bush Creek Church of the Brethren. She served as the church’s treasurer.

She loved to bake and was best known for the red velvet cake she would make. Jenifer loved the Christmas season. She enjoyed decorating for the holiday and gift giving. If you mentioned wanting something she would always make sure you got it.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by; her children, John Tyler Hipkins, Catherine Elizabeth Hipkins (Jorge Benson), Joshua Hunter Hipkins (Felicity Haven), Jackson Walter Hipkins, (Emily Graham), and James Michael Hipkins (Kiley Rae Kolius), and her brother Ryan Dudrow (Andrea).

Family and friends can gather at Bush Creek Church of the Brethren, 4821 Green Valley Rd, Monrovia, MD 21770, on Wednesday November 1, 2023 from 3pm to 7pm. A funeral will be held at the church on Thursday November 2, 2023 at 11am. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
