Jeanette Toms

Jeanette Lynn Toms, age 79, of Jefferson, MD, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024.  She is preceded in death by her loving spouse, Allan Harold Toms.

She was born in Washington, DC on April 27, 1945.  She was the daughter of the late Corby Stearns and Dorothy Stearns Gregory.

Jeanette is survived by her son, Kenneth Toms and wife Georgia; sisters Barbara Kingsbury Barbuti and Jacqueline Painter; step grandson Johnathan Hack; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Jeanette was preceded in death by her son Alvie Toms and sister, Patricia Filloramo.

The family will receive friends at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701 on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.  Rev. Edward Hartman will officiate.  Interment will follow at Mt. Bethel UMC Cemetery, 14110 Stottlemyer Road, Smithsburg, MD  21783.
