Janice Mccleaf Robbins

Mrs. Janice McCleaf Robbins, 78, of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020. She was born in York, Pennsylvania on July 1, 1941 to the late Donald and Beatrice McCleaf. She was the wife of Joseph Robbins for 45 years being together for 50 years total.

Janice was a Baltimore Ravens fan who also enjoyed reading and word search puzzles. She was a devout Catholic attending prayer group at St. John Catholic Church where she was a member. She also attended services at St. Timothy Catholic Church.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughters Karren Robbins and Jamie Fritz, grandchildren, Rick Young, Jr., Brandon Fritz, Shawn Wetzel, great-grandchildren, Remy Young, Bentley Wetzel, Wyatt Fritz, and Blake Wetzel, brother, James McCleaf, brother-in-law’s, John Robbins and wife Georgia, David Robbins and wife Shelva, Robert Robbins and wife Debra, and special friend Debra Ousse. She was preceded in death by brother Donald McCleaf.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Rd, Walkersville.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Catholic Relief Services, P.O. Box 17090, Baltimore, MD 21297 or the Frederick County Animal Control, 1832 Rosemont Ave. Frederick, MD 21702.
