Isla Rae Conner

Isla Rae Conner, age 71, of Frederick, Maryland, went home to be with her Lord on February 7, 2025. She is survived by her daughter Natalee Ann Linger, and her grandson Michael Steven Bowne and her granddaughter, Jayla Rae Penamon. Isla was born and raised in Brunswick, Maryland where she graduated high school. She then furthered her education in business management and served as a budget analyst with the U.S. Department of Energy for 34 years. After retirement, she worked in the mental health and addiction field for more than 10 years. Isla loved being at the beach, it was her happy place. She moved to Topsail Beach, NC, but returned home to Frederick after 6 years to be with family and friends. Since then, she has enjoyed spending a great deal of time with her beloved daughter and grandchildren. Isla was also an active and proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous for much of her life. She enjoyed the fellowship and participated in service work as well. The family will receive friends at Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes,, P.A. on Sunday February 23, 2025 from 2- 3 P.M.
