George Calvin Dutrow, Sr.

George Calvin Dutrow, Sr., 85, of Frederick, passed away peacefully at Kline Hospice House on Friday June 14, 2019. He was born June 14, 1934 in New Market, MD to the late Guy and Mary Dutrow (nee Main). He was the beloved husband to the late Frances Annette Dutrow (nee Simmons) for 58 years.

George was a loving father and grandfather. He dedicated his life to caring for his daughter. Ensuring she always had what she needed, even in his last days. He also worked for the Montgomery County School Board for 37 years.

He is survived by his children; George Calvin Dutrow Jr., and his wife JoAnn, and Deborah “Debbie” Annette Dutrow, grandchildren; Brandon Dutrow and his significant other Caitlin, Brittany Adkins and her husband Steve, and great-grandchildren Avery Adkins and Olivia Adkins,

Family and friends can gather at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701, on Wednesday June 19, 2019 from 10 am until the start of the funeral at 11 am. Interment will follow immediately at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy, Frederick, MD 21701.
