Freddie Calvin Cleaver

Freddie Calvin Cleaver, age 70 of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away on 4 July, 2022 He was born in Lee County Virginia on September 6, 1951, and was 1 of 5 children to Allie Loretta Spurlock and Charles Cleaver Jr. His siblings include Jerry, Eddie, Earl Franklin (Franky), and Patricia. Freddie worked as Security Officer for Universal Security LLC. Freddie proudly served his Country in the Army National Guard. Freddie is the loving father of George Cleaver (Kristy) and Lawrence Cleaver ( Jennifer). He is survived by sister Patricia Porter, life partner Barbara Gilman, grandchildren Kassie, Alex, Jarrett, Joey, Ben and Kate, great grandson Aries. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces. The family will receive friends at Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, P.A., 106 East Church St, Frederick, Maryland on Thursday, 7 July, 2022 from 5 – 7 PM. The funeral service will be held Friday, 8 July, 2022 at 2 PM at New Market Cemetery, 5501 Old New Market Road.
