Frances Catherine Stup

Mrs. Frances Catherine Stup, of Frederick, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023 at the Ballenger Creek Center.  She was the loving wife to the late W. Wilson Stup, who preceded her in death in 1993.

Born July 8, 1930 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Biagio and Adeline Castellucci.

She is survived by her son; John Stup and wife Kimberley of Chambersburg, PA, step daughter; Sharon Hale and husband John of Walkersville, grandchildren; Christopher Stup and wife Nikki and Tasha McClain and husband Michael, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her daughter; Sabrina Stup, step son; Michael Stup and sisters; Mary Wetzel and Josephine Mendez and special friend; Charles Coulter.

The family will receive friends from 10am to 11am on Monday, November 27, 2023 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick.  The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00AM.  Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
