Frances Marie Klinedinst

Frances “Fran” Marie Klinedinst, 71, of Frederick, passed on Thursday January 11, 2024. Born in San Antonio, Texas on January 3, 1953, to the late Rufus Earl and Patricia Agnes (nee Baker) Malone. She was the beloved wife of Timothy Edward Klinedinst.

Fran graduated from Delone Catholic High School, PA. She would go on to obtain a bachelor’s degree in biology from Millersville University, PA. Fran also studied business and American Sign Language.

Fran would work as a substitute teacher with the York County Public Schools, and the Frederick County Public Schools. She also would spend some of her career as a lab technician with the Frederick County Water and Sewer. In her later years she would become a caregiver for those with special needs and the elderly.

Some of Fran’s hobbies include gardening, sewing, camping, cooking, traveling, and crafts. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and nana whose curiosity was endless and had a great heart. Who always put other people’s needs above her own.

Fran was a member of and actively involved with Mt. Caramel United Methodist Church. She would teach vacation bible school and Sunday school. Fran would also help with crafts, church picnics, and driving the church bus. She was also President of the Board of Trustees.

In addition to her Husband, she is survived by; her children, Kevin Klinedinst, Mark Klinedinst, Sarah Klinedinst, Kristen Klinedinst, Kimberly Klinedinst, and Josh Klinedinst, grandchildren Lauren, Lillie, and Anna, her siblings Pat Flickinger, Rose Vasquez, James Malone, David Malone, Jeanette Hetrick, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son Cliff Klinedinst, step mother Betty Malone, her sister Deborah Clifford.

A Memorial service will be held for Fran and her husband Timothy at Pinecliff Park, 8350 Pinecliff Park Rd, Frederick, MD 21704, on Sunday April 28, 2024 at 1pm.
