Flora "Elaine" Walters

Flora Elaine Walters, 87, of Frederick passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019. Born in Frederick on September 9, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Florida Clary. She was the beloved wife of Martin Walters who preceded her in death in 2002.

In her spare time Flora enjoyed playing Bingo at the Frederick American Legion Post #11 where she was also a member. She also had a special love for animals, especially cats.

She is survived by her nieces Deborah Bean, Diane Reed, nephew John Bean, and sister in law Mariam Walters. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by daughter Terry Walters, siblings Raymond Clary, Jesse Clary, Roger Clary, Jack Clary, Buddy Clary, and Betty Morgan. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews, as well as good friends George Bruchey and Laurie Trammel who helped to take care of her over the past few years.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 11AM at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD, 21701. Family will receive friends from 9AM to 11AM on the same day. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
